Beginner Golf Instruction
Beginner Golf swing instructions for men and women of all ages.
After purchasing your golf equipment you are now on the hunt for golf instruction that will enable you to learn the basic's of playing golf. I would suggest that most beginners start at the green.
This is one of the best instruction golf tips women could take on board. Why? Well women generally have a very good and natural feel for chipping and especially putting. If you can build confidence in these areas of the game first..... you will be able to proceed with your golf instruction with confidence.
So the first thing to do is learn how to putt. The puttingzone system I teach is one of the best and proven systems you could possibly learn. The puttingzone system works with the brain and how the brain helps you to determine distance control.....read more about golf instruction putting from the PuttingZone.
The second part to our golf instruction for beginners is to learn the chipping and pitching actions. The reality is that once these actions are learnt the full swing will be automatic for you, as the full golf swing is just an extension of the chip and pitch shots. So start at the green with putting......then move to chipping and then onto the pitch shots. DO NOT go straight to the full shot, in most cases you are doomed for failure and frustration.
I would suggest that beginners start out with a book or DVD to absorb some of the basic's of our "A Perfect Swing Golf Instruction"system. In the "21st Century Golf swing" book and Dvd's you will find drills that will provide beginners and even accomplished golfers the basic steps to building a very efficient and accurate golf swing.
The little shot is the basis of our golf swing method. Most ladies and even children naturally cock their wrist early in the golf swing. Not only do they cock the wrists early they also cock the wrists with an "under type action". This natural wrist action is what we TEACH.
What most golf beginners need to learn is how to release the club head using their wrists. Once their wrists become nice and oily and soft.... the club head actually becomes easier to swing and thus not putting any extra pressure on the body. If you hold onto the club through impact you will generally move off balance.
Test this for yourself.
Swing the club shaft to a 9 oclock position. (Imagine a tilted clock face that is the same angle as your shaft when you are in your set up position.) So take your club shaft up the tilted clock face to 9 oclock. Now just let the club swing to 3 oclock. Use your wrists ONLY. You must feel the action of your wrists when swinging the club head. Now try swinging the club with just the arms and NO wrists. You will find there is no way you can swing the club head faster without using your wrists.
Drills like these are featured throughout the "How to Kill the Ball" books and DVD's. The beginner.... ultimately should also take one on one golf lessons...... more information
